Singapore Physical therapy centres for children

There are plenty of options for therapy in Singapore. A lot of people opt for physios who come to their homes. We had a chat with a couple of parents - customers of EnaTechHub - and they shared their experience, in reality, a lot of awesome therapists are those who don’t have time to do house visits and can see you in the centres. It is also a great opportunity to get your kid out and about - and as we know, novelty stimulates neuroplasticity (brain rewiring).

Here’s a quick list of some of the best paediatric physiotherapy centres in Singapore, most of them ww have personally seen in action. All of them can help you with measuring up your kid and selecting the most appropriate equipment.

WINGS Therapy and Learning Centre

Founded in 2017, WINGS is Singapore’s first intensive therapy centre to offer transformative and innovative therapies such as the TheraSuit Method ®, CME (Cuevas Medek Exercises) and Intensive Gait Training. Their intensive therapy programs (as well as individually planned sessions) are tailored to target the unique goals of each of the patients. Judith, Sinead and Mary are amazing therapists who change kid’s life. WINGS centre is located in Boon Keng in transformed shophouse - a real den for parents and kids.

A charity organisation that believes in empowering people with disabilities, Rainbow Centre provides programmes and services that range from early intervention for infants to structured education for students with autism.

The physiotherapy intervention is aimed at children with autism who have difficulties with gross motor functions and helps to develop physical independence in everyday activities. Rainbow Centre’s physiotherapists will collaborate with the child’s caregivers and teachers to set goals based on his or her needs and also manage activity-based intervention, hydrotherapy, individual and group therapy. Realising that it’s tough to be a caregiver to a child with special needs, Rainbow Centre also provides support groups for families and siblings.
