Heidi gained her honours degree in Hong Kong and extensive work experience in numerous clinical settings across Hong Kong, Melbourne, Boston and Singapore since 2002. She moved to Singapore in 2008 to work in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and was instrumental in the running of the orthotics services for KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital for 5 concurrent years. Through her years of working with babies and children, she has developed an interest in paediatrics orthotics and is also a specialist in foot biomechanics. On a personal note, Heidi spends her free time with her husband and pet cats and has also taken up the art of calligraphy. In addition, she is adjusting to her new role as a mother.

Susanna was Singapore’s first local female P&O when she completed her honours degree in Salford (UK) in 2000. She received the Best Clinical Award, Outstanding Academic Award, the Final Year Prize and UK’s Limbless Association Award in the course of her study. This was made possible with the prestigious Dr William Tan Scholarship by Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Being the pioneer in this field, Susanna has published and presented at various local and overseas conferences. Never cease to stop learning, she earned a master’s degree in London (UK) in 2004. Susanna was the Centre Manager of Foot Care and Limb Design Centre (FLC) which is made up of the Prosthetics & Orthotics and Podiatry services at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Susanna has vast experience dealing with postural management of children with disabilities and has developed a special interest in paediatrics orthotics. Susanna de-stresses by cycling and enjoys traveling with family every school holiday.

DR. JANELL LEE
Dr. Janell Lee is an experienced paediatric physiotherapist with almost 20 years of specialised paediatric experience. She has both local and overseas experience, working in a variety of settings. She sees children aged from birth to 16 with neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic or respiratory conditions. She provides home-based therapy because she believes that children learn best when they are in their familiar environment. It also allows her to tailor the exercises based on their home environment, making it easier for the family to continue with the exercises.
Besides her doctorate in physical therapy, Dr. Janell is trained in specialised assessments and treatments, such as the General Movement assessment for early identification of neurological/motor problems in infants, the neurodevelopmental treatment for infants and children, the Schroth Best Practise scoliosis-specific exercises for idiopathic scoliosis, and is a certified infant massage instructor.
